Doris Long Butler, 98, of Byhalia, MS died Thursday, September 24, 2020, at Diversicare of Southaven. She was retired from the Dolly Madison Bakery and the Army Depot. She served the Lord at Longcrest Baptist Church in Memphis and Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch. Many were touched by her service to others for the Lord. She is survived by her daughter, Edith Ann and her son, Bobby Joe. The Lord blessed her with six grandsons and one granddaughter, six great grandsons and one great granddaughter and one great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin and son, Danny, as well as her parents, Tom and Ona Long and siblings, Fay and Dee.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Forest Hill Funeral Home Midtown Chapel with interment to follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park Midtown.
