DORIS JOWERS CARR, 92, peacefully left this life on January 26, 2022. She was born in Newport, Arkansas, attended the University of Central Arkansas, was a member of Whitehaven Presbyterian Church, and married to Hobart W. Carr for
43 years until his death in 1993. She was manager of the men's department at Macy's for many years, consistently earning top sales awards. She was also an animal lover who was attached to her long-haired dachshund, "Little Bud". Her
family includes daughter Cindy Mitcham (Buddy), son Eddie Carr (Teresa) and deceased daughter Susan McDonald (Stan). Grandchildren include Meredith Young (Harrison), Courtney Harlow (Tanner), Megan Stratz (Ryan) and Tyler
McDonald and deceased grandson Matt McDonald. Great grandchildren include Lambdin and Carr Young and Hannah and Molly Harlow.

She will be laid to restwith a 2:00 PM graveside service on Monday,  January 31 st at Forest Hill Cemetery
South with a 1:30-2:00 PM viewing/visitation.
