Mrs. Doris M. Hobbs, widow of Robert E. Hobbs, left this world for Heaven October 22, 2016 after a long illness. At her passing she resided at Landmark of DeSoto in Horn Lake, MS. Doris was born on January 16, 1936 in McAlister, OK, one of 11 children to Zeke and Walsey Scott. Doris was a member of City Gate Church in Southaven. She was a loving mother, sister, Memaw, and friend and will be greatly missed by all. Doris is survived by one brother, Dude Scott (Linda); a daughter, Tilenna "Tina" Wright; 3 grandchildren: Alicia Stafford, Joey Wright (Marian), and April Robbins (Cory); 3 great-grandchildren: Raegan Stafford and JJ and Tyler Wright. Doris was a faithful follower of Jesus and is now resting in his arms. Her legacy is love of God, love of family, and love of life. A visitation will be held Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 5-7 pm with a funeral service Friday at 2:00 pm. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Road.
