Doris Taylor Lawrence, 87, of Memphis, TN died peacefully Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Methodist North Hospital. She was retired from Kimberly-Clark in 1989 after forty years in payroll and was a member of St. Stephen's United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her husband , George Lawrence and is survived by her daughter, Janice Nabors Raiteri and son, George Lawrence both of Memphis; sister, Arlene Orton of Stockton, IL; brother, Franklin Taylor of Ft. Smith, AR; grandchildren, Walt Nabors of Bartlett TN, Elaine Nabors of Bozeman, MT and Nicole Bramlett of Hernando, MS and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 12-2 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with graveside services to follow at 2 p.m. in Memphis Memory Gardens. The family requests any memorials be made to M.I.F.A. or Memphis Food Bank.
