Doris Ruth Albin (Nanny) of Bartlett who was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away on September 27, 2015 at the age of 90. She was born in Wilson AR. She is preceded in death by her parents John Love Norris and Izella Finley of Lake County, TN. As well as her husband James M. Albin of Bartlett, TN. Doris is survived by her children Patricia Perry (Hal) of Charleston, S.C.; Michael Albin (Debbie) of Southaven, MS.; David (Pam) of Collierville, TN.; and Timothy (Margaret) of Bartlett, TN., six grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Doris was raised in Tiptonville, TN., and graduated from Lake County High School before beginning work at Fisher Aircraft. Later she worked for Security Signals of Cordova, TN. She was active in the Dept. of Agriculture''s Home Demonstrators, as well as an avid ceramics artist. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7pm on Wednesday Sept. 30 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, with burial at 2pm on Thursday at Memory Hills Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St.
Jude Children''s Hospital, or to the charity of their choice.
