Doris Stone Omedeo, 84, of Germantown, TN, went to be with the Lord, September 27, 2012. She retired from Kelloggs and was a Methodist. Mrs. Omedeo was preceded in death by her husband, Frank E. Omedeo and her son, Frank Douglas Omedeo. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Gary) Pierce of Germantown; a brother, Bob Stone of Costa Rica; four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, October 1 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with the family receiving friends an hour prior. The family would like to express their sincere thanks and gratitude for the care given by Crossroads Hospice and the Gardens of Germantown, and request any memorials be sent to the Alzheimer''s Association or to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
