Mrs. Doris Marie Pike born on October 13th, 1943 (81) passed away in her home on November 26th, 2024.

Doris, better known as Dot or Gran Gran, was a selfless woman who loved her family dearly. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy, well-fed, and brushing their teeth. She spent her time watching hummingbirds out of the window, planting flowers, and decorating for the holidays. You could find her in the kitchen watching cowboy movies or Yellowstone while eating a bowl of ice cream or Hershey's chocolate. Her favorite thing of all was spoiling her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy. Doris is now resting with many people she loved including her husband, Bubba. She will be missed dearly, but we will never forget the love she gave us and the lessons we learned.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Arthur F. Pike; her parents, Clifford Benny Young and Lovie Lee Bell Young; her sisters, Laverne Cravens, Lois Feree, Helen Rice, Betty Lou Belue and Hazel Ruark; her brothers, Desmond Young, Edward Young, Billy Young and Jerry Young; her son-in-law Mike Ferguson.

She leaves behind her three daughters, Lou Wanda Ferguson, Dawn Graves, and Vicky King; her sister Shirley Franks; her brother Jimmy Young; her grandchildren Joey Graves (Haley), Louis Michael Graves, Courtney Lies (Ben), Noah King, Jacob Ferguson, Hana King, Evan King, and Kaly King; hergreat grandchildren Kason Graves, Tovi Graves, Charlotte Lies, Renneara Graves, and John Michael Lies.

A visitation for Doris will be held Monday December 2, 2024 at 9:00 am at Forest Hill. Followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am and a burial.
