Dorman Earl Strauser, 79, of Millington, TN and formerly of Obion, TN, passed away on February 17, 2018.  He passed away at Methodist North Hospital, surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 17, 1938 in Obion, TN to Emil Jay and Florence Dean Moore Strauser (now deceased).  He was employed by the Shelby County Sheriff's Department and the U.S. Marshall Service.  He was of the Methodist faith.  He leaves his wife of 60 years, Shirley Strauser, of Millington, TN; a son, Kevin Jay Strauser, and his wife, Donna; two sisters, Betty Jean Wilson, and Martha Singleton; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by four brothers; James, John, William, and Emmitt.  Visitation for Mr. Strauser will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 Tuesday, February 20, 2018 At Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.  His funeral service will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, February 21, 2018 also at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East, with interment to follow.
