Dorothy "Dot" Ann Bayless, 82, of Bartlett, Tn., passed away August 19, 2023.

She is survived by her brother, Kenneth L. Oakes; two nieces, Tammy R. Pack and Heidi L. Broach (Paul Edward); two beloved dogs, Finn and Noel; and a host of other family members.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Nat and Claris Oakes; brother, Aubrey Oakes; first husband, James N. McGhee; and second husband, Thomas Bayless.

Dorothy was a loving wife, aunt, and sister. She enjoyed being a homemaker and took pride in her home. She was an amazing cook, and her family always looked forward to her meals, especially during the holidays.

Dot was the best dog mom and thought of her dogs as children. throughout the years, she was "mom" to Erma, Missy, muffin, Max, Snickers, PopTart, Poppy, Dominick, Louie, and Kiko. Finn and Noel will live out their remaining years with her neice, Heidi. She had a soft spot for Schnauzers and volunteered with Schnauzer Love Rescue.

Burial Services are in the care of Forest Hill Funeral Home - East.
