Dorothy Marie Beal, 92, passed away peacefully at Methodist Hospice House on June 1, 2016. She was born May 12, 1924 in Water Valley, Mississippi. She spent most of her life living in Memphis, TN. She worked at Kimberly Clark, retail jewelry sales and home health care. Dorothy was preceded in death by the two loves of her life, Jerry Haynes (Married for 40 years) and Harry Beal (Married for 8 years). She is survived by her daughter, Alice Haynes Slusher, granddaughters, Melanie Jones (Jerry) and Holly Perritt (Ronnie); grandson, Chad Little (Cinnamon); great-grandsons, Jamey Jones (Allie), Landon Little; son-in-law, Richard Rome (Alisa); and by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 10-11 AM with funeral services to immediately follow at 11:00 AM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park East. Interment will be held at the Water Valley Cemetery, Water Valley, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, the family asks memorials be made to Methodist Hospice Residence, PO Box 42048, Memphis, TN 38174 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
