Dorothy Ann Clara Fava, 90, died on April 3, 2013 at NMMC in Tupelo. She was born May 23, 1922 in Clarksdale, MS. Mrs. Fava was a former member of St. Michael''s, Memphis, St. Christopher, Pontotoc, and St. Joseph, Greenville. She was a member of St. Anne''s Sewing Circle, the Legion of Mary and St. Michael''s Altar Society. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Fava was preceded in death by her husband, Pete J. Fava, Sr., her parents, two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Andrea Fava of Greenville, MS and Lisa Dearman of Canton, GA; two sons, Johnny J. Fava of Canton, MS and Pete J. Fava, Jr. (Laura), of Pontotoc, MS; sister, Margaret Johnston of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren, Angela Fava, Pam Beck (Jody), Joseph Fava, Denise Fava and Tori Dearman; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 9-10 A.M., Saturday, April 6, 2013 with services to follow at 10 A.M. at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 P.M., April 5, 2013 at St. James Catholic Church, Tupelo, MS. Visitation will be 5-6:30 P.M., prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude''s, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 or to NMMC Medical Center Foundation, c/o Hospice, 422A East President Ave., Tupelo, MS 38801-9986.
