Dorothy "Dot" Crenshaw McKinney, age 86, of Olive Branch, MS, passed away Sunday, January 31, 2016. Born in Grenada County, MS, January. 12, 1930, Dot was the daughter of Fred L. and Lydia Crenshaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold T. McKinney, son Rodger Dennis McKinney, and sister, Betty Crenshaw Bailey. Dot was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, wonderful mother-in-law, and friend. She was an active member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and retired from Dillard''s Department Store. She is survived by her children: Harold T. McKinney (Pam) and Dawn Evans (Mark); grandchildren: Jon McKinney, Andrea McKinney Fleener, Steve Renfro(Kaitlin), Courtney Rogers (Paul), Mac McKinney (Mandy), Ashley Jackson, Mark Evans (Shanna), and Brandon Evans (Andrea), 18 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Lynn Creason. MaMa Dot was the matriarch of the McKinney familyloved and adored by all. We are all very blessed to have had her in our lives. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3rd at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South on Holmes Rd. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 4 at 10 am. Services and interment will be at Forest Hill, South. The family wishes to thank the staff at Methodist Hospice Residence for lovingly caring for our MaMa Dot. Any memorials in honor of Dot may be made to Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Olive Branch, MS.
