Dorothy Louise Crick, 89, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at her home in Southaven, MS. Mrs. Crick was born in Paducah, KY to the late D.C and Eula Wilson. She was one of 5 children. Dorothy was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Southaven and an Eastern Star. In her younger years she was a Red Cross Volunteer at the Old VA Hospital in Memphis. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Crick. he leaves two children: Don Crick of Brentwood, TN and Bonnie Carpenter of Southaven; 10 grandchildren: Donald Crick (Anita) of Southaven, Sherry Vaughn (Murray) of Hernando, Michelle Flanigan of Cordova, Melissa Seibring (Rusty) of Hernando, Kevin Crick of Hernando; Richard Gelsinger (Donna) of Horn Lake, Ron Gelsinger of Walls, Wayne Gelsinger of Walls, Tom Carpenter (Marti) of Horn Lake, MS and Hope Carpenter of Southaven; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great- grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, April 14 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. with the service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
