Dorothy Lee Wilson Gallenbeck, 94, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019 in Somerville, TN.  Mrs. Gallenbeck was a United States Navy Veteran, and had retired from owning her own Cottage Crafts Store where she was a very talented designer.  On her 90 ^th birthday, she had a surprise birthday party, where she was honored by the US Navy and received several signed letters from the TN Governor and other elected officials.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren H. Gallenbeck.  Left to honor and cherish her memory are her sons: Brent Gallenbeck (Virginia Maier), Steve Gallenbeck, Marc Gallenbeck (Claudine) and Brian Gallenbeck (Penny).  She had been blessed with eight grandchildren: Ami, Heidi, Cody, Stephanie, Tyler, Shannon, Brittany and Arwin.  Visitation with her family will be on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 9:00-10:00 am, with her service following at 10:00 am at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Rd. In lieu of flowers the family request any memorials be sent to the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation or The Forever Young Senior Veterans Wish Organization.
