Dorothy E. Hall, "Mama Dot" of Southaven, MS, was born in Union County, MS on March 21, 1938 to Louis and Evie Rodgers, who have preceded her in death. She was called home on July 15, 2012 by our Lord after her courageous 21 month battle with lung cancer. Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband of 53 years, Manuel R. Hall; and a sister, Dink Gray (Worden) of Bartlett, TN. "Mama Dot" touched so many lives as an active parent at Egypt Elementary and Raleigh-Egypt High School and in her community of Rose Valley as her children grew up. Her legacy will carry on through her children, Pam Hutchison (Bobby) of Atoka, TN, Glen Hall of Memphis, TN, and Jeff Hall (Kathleen) of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren, Chris Hutchison (Billie) of Hernando, MS, Jason Hall (Jamie) of Collierville, TN, and Jennifer Bishop (Brad) of Atoka, TN; and her great-grandchildren, Blake and Miller Hutchison of Hernando, MS, Jayden and Jaxon Hall of Collierville, TN, and Kyle Bishop of Arlington, TN. Visitation will be 12-2 P.M., Tuesday, July 17, 2012, with services to follow at 2 P.M., at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery.
