Dorothy Ann Markle, 85, passed away on November 2, 2023.

She was a beloved wife of 42 years to Darrell G. Markle prior to his death January 9, 2015. A loving mother of Tammy Markle Tompkins (Dwain) of Byhalia, Ms. and Debbie Markle Garrett (Jerry) of Byhalia, Ms.

Dorothy leaves one sister, Nancy Greene of Olive Branch, MS; 4 grandchildren, Jeremy Tompkins (Nikki) of Byhalia, MS, Jamie Alberson (Bob) of Byhalia, MS, Lee Garrett of Nashville, TN, and Shane Garrett (Kateland) of Jacksonville, FL; seven great grandchildren, Tony Tompkins, Ian Tompkins, Alexus Tompkins, Peyton Barnett, Keegan Barnett, Piper Alberson, and Rene Garrett; and one great great grandson, Paxton Tompkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Monette and Robert Allen; three brothers, Robert Allen Jr., Eugene Allen and Donald Allen; and one sister, Jeanine Hopper.
