Dorothy Lee "Dot" Monger Dalton formerly of Bartlett, TN -
Dorothy "Dot" Dalton, 75, formerly of Bartlett, TN passed away on Wednesday, January 25,
2017 at Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Bells, TN where she was a resident for the
past 4 years. She was born on August 8, 1941 to proud parents, Clyde Allen Monger and
Katherine Elizabeth Walton Monger. She was a proud graduate of Southside High School in
Memphis. Dot, while in high school, fell in love with the love of her life. She married her high
school sweetheart, James Lewis "Louie" Dalton on Valentine''s Day in 1964. They remained
married and devoted to each other for 49 years until Louie''s passing in 2013. Dot loved pictures
and picture albums, sending and receiving greeting cards, Elvis, the Memphis Tigers, and PINK
lipstick. But most of all, she loved being with her family, especially her two grandchildren. She is
survived by her daughter, Cindy Dalton Fuller, son-in-law Craig Fuller, and two grandchildren:
Joshua and Sophie Fuller, all of Jackson, TN; two brothers, James Monger of Memphis, TN and
Warren Monger of Maryville, TN. Visitation will be at 12 noon, followed by funeral service and
burial at 2:00pm on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery, 2440
Whitten Road in Memphis.
