Dorothy Marie Parrette, 85, of Memphis passed away on January 15, 2016 at Ashton Place Rehab and Care Center. Mrs. Parrette retired from Wonder Bread. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Parrette; her parents: C.W. and Martha Jane Gammon; also two sisters and one brother. Dorothy leaves her daughter, Rhonda A. Dewitt of Memphis and son, Keith Parrette of Cordova; two grandchildren: Maggie Hancock of Olive Branch and Wesley Padgett of Memphis; two great-grandchildren: Dominick Jenkins and Faith Dewitt; also two great-great-grandchildren: Anna Davenport and Jeremy Jenkins. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, January 18 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Entombment will be in Forest Hill South Mausoleum.
