Dorothy N. Pennington Summers, 84, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017, after a brief illness. Dorothy was born in Crossett, Arkansas, and was the second of four daughters. She was predeceased by her husband, D. Wilson Summers, her parents, and one sister. She leaves her son, James Summers and his wife, Sherrill; a granddaughter, Rebecca Tessaro; a grandson, Wil Summers, and four great-granddaughters; two sisters: Jamie Wisecarver -Cox and Alice Pennington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to: Community Hospice of North Florida or to the hospice of the donor''s choice.
