Dorothy Pumphrey, 82, died September 27, 2017 in Somerville, TN. She retired as a self employed manager of a laundry service. She was of the Methodist faith. Preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, Norris Doyle, she leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Thomas Doyle and Larry Doyle; a daughter, Dorothy Louise Doyle; four sisters, Jeanette Brown; Sue Hinds; Elaine Price; and Faye Peak; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. Services are entrusted to Forest Hill Funeral Home, East.
