Dorothy Faye Riser, 83, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017 at her home in Brighton, TN. She was born October 11, 1934 to Dow and Nettie Scarborough. She married William D. Riser on May 26, 1952 and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are her three children Don (Ann McCullough) Riser, Cindy (Tracy) Franklin, and Carol (Eddie) Smith; one brother John (Claudia) Scarborough; three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Dorothy loved her family unconditionally and loved God. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church for over 30 years, and enjoyed teaching Sunday school.
A memorial service will be held at Faith Baptist Church on Monday, November 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. 900 Simmons Road Munford, TN with a fellowship following.
