Dorothy Jean Russell, 81, passed away in Bartlett, TN on April 6, 2019.  She was a member of Cross Roads United Methodist Church, and was a retired book keeper in the transportation industry.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Russell; parents, Emmett and Evelyn Cates, and one sister, Shirley Gann.  Left to cherish her memory are two sisters, Pat (Carl) Moore of Bartlett, TN and Bonnie Gay of Olive Branch, MS.  Mrs. Russell loved gardening and tending to her plants.  Visitation with her family will be on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 1:00~2:00 pm, with her service following at 2:00 pm at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East on Whitten Road. 901-382-1000
