Dorothy Burton Shephard was born on October 22, 1940 in Starksville, MS. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her brothers, Eddie Dean Burton, Milton Coleman and sisters, Margrent and Alice.

Dorothy leaves to cherish her sweet memories her husband, Junior Shephard; one son, Reginald Burton; one grand daughter, Danielle Burton; three step-daughters, Betty B. Holt, Valarie Reed, and Janice Rook; two sister in-laws, Lora Coleman and Mary F. Montgomery and two brothers in-law, Curtis shepherd and J.W. Shephard, also a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives who will miss her dearly.
