Dwain Elton Wallis, 83, went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home in Olive Branch. Dwain was born in Louisiana to Della and George Wallis on October 3, 1932. He served in the U.S. Army and worked most of his adult life for Kroger and Wal Mart stores as a store manager. He had three daughters by his first wife Ruby Bruce Wallis. He later married Charles "Tootsie" Wallis and they lived in Olive Brach, MS. He loved being outdoors and watching game shows. Dwain was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Carl and sisters: Florence, Marie, Duboise and Georgia. He leaves his wife "Tootsie" and four daughters: Karen Trammell of Henderson, TX, Pam Tuck of Brampton, Ontario, Debra Wykie of Loveland CO and Erin Foster of Dubach, Louisiana; One brother, Roger Wallis of Tyler, TX; six grandchildren: Rachel, Sarah, Ashlea, Hannah, Grace and Hope; also three great-grandchildren: Leah, Chloe and Caleb. Service will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 19 at LaBelle Haven Baptist Church 4800 Hwy 305 N. in Olive Branch, MS 38654. Visiation will be from 9 to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery 2545 E. Holmes Rd., Memphis, TN 38118, 901-346-3250 The family request that memorials are sent to LaBelle Haven Baptist Church.
