Earl "Dee" Dillard, 84, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 30. He is reunited with his wife of 62 years, Jimmie Dillard, and a daughter, Deborah Johnson, who both preceded him in death. Earl retired from the Buckeye Cellulose Co., where he worked for 35 years and loved to garden, work on lawnmowers, and fish. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church. He leaves behind twin sons, Russell Dillard of Gaston, SC and Randell Dillard of Whiteland, IN, one daughter, Paula Coleman of Memphis, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind two sisters, Annaloyce Marta, of Titusville, FL and Faye Turner of Randolph, MS, many nieces, nephews and good friends. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, May 5 and service will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 6 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following.
