Earl Major, age 89, of Memphis, TN, passed away on April 12, 2013 at Baptist Trinity Hospice House of Collierville. Mr. Major was known for his Major of Memphis Photo Studio for over 50 years. He was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church where he served in the choir for 62 years. His love of music included guitar, organ and harmonica. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mabel. Survivors include his son, Earl Eugene Major of Memphis; his daughter, Laura Conner of Nashville; his two grandsons, Aaron and Zachary; and a great-grandson, Eli. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. until service begins at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Deb Christianson officiating. Interment will be at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
