EARL WASHINGTON, 74, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center. Visitation will be Sunday, June 22 from 5-7 p.m. at the Greater White Stone Missionary Baptist Church, 917 South Wellington Street. Funeral will be Monday, June 23 at 11 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at New Park Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Larthy Ree Washington; one son, Jeffery Sorrells; two daughters, Kimberly Kay Cunningham and Jennifer Ree Washington; one granddaughter, Christina C. Cunningham; one brother, McCarry Jackson (Barbara) of Chicago, IL; two aunts, Mahalia Taylor, Zenobia ''Mickey'''' McCoy (Willie); one uncle, Denson Taylor, Sr. (Beatrice); and one godson, Percy Baker, Jr. (Regina).
