Obituary

Ed Jackson, 88, of Memphis, TN passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. He was a retired brick mason, a member of Bellevue Baptist Church, where he served on the Usher Board and a WW II Army veteran. Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by his wife, Cornelia Jackson, and is survived by daughters, Thelma Minor (Willie) of Chicago, IL, Willie Mae Marshall (Reed), Doris Montgomery (Watson), Dorothy Cunningham (Gregory) and Lawanda Jackson Jones all of Memphis, TN; sons, Earl Jackson (Lillie) of Chicago, IL, Robert L. Jackson (Martha) and Bobby L. Jackson (Freda) both of Memphis, TN; several brothers and sisters and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Eddie Dunn and a son, Otha B. Jackson. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, March 29 at Forest Hill Midtown Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday at the Mt. Moriah East Church, with interment to follow in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
