Eddie Mitchell Bumpous, "Pappaw" (84), of Senatobia, Mississippi passed away March 26, 2026.
He was born on August 12th, 1941 in Marshall County, Mississippi, and was preceded in death by his wife, Janette Bumpous, his father, Mitchell Bumpous, his mother, Sybil Bumpous, and his brother, Henry Bumpous.
Eddie is survived by his siblings: Johnny Bumpous of Southaven MS, Wayne Bumpous of Batesville, MS, and Polly Hooper of Coldwater, MS,
his children: Keith Bumpous (Shannon) of Coldwater, MS, Susie Dickson (Al) of Hernando, MS, Brian Bumpous of Senatobia, MS, and Chris Bumpous (Jamelia) of Senatobia, MS, along with 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Eddie lived a full life in his 84 years, living in places across the United States, such as Arizona, California, Tennessee, and Mississippi. He spent his time on Earth as a cowboy, preacher, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He'll be remember for his passionate worship, his love of music through singing and dancing, and his love for the children in his life.
