On December 1, 2022, Edie M. Rowland, passed peacefully in her sleep and went to be with her Lord and Savior. Born on March 5, 1922 in Middleton, TN to John Miller and Roberta (Bertie) Norton Grantham, she lived a full life and was over 100 years at the time of her death. She was married to Charles Rowland on February 18, 1945. She was a homemaker and excellent salesperson, earning many awards and recognitions in her career selling cosmetics. Edie was a director at Mary Kay Cosmetics and continued that career with Concept Now Cosmetics. She was also instrumental in helping set up the first Super D store in Memphis. She was loved and admired by her coworkers and customers. She was the matriarch of the family, loving them with all her heart. She loved her Lord and prayed that each would know the Lord as she did.

She is survived by sister Jean (Don) Palmer, her daughters Sherry Little and Pamela Brooks of Collierville; Larry (Pam) of Bartlett, TN, and Terry (Mary) of Memphis, TN. Also, grandchildren Jason (Elizabeth) Little of Southaven, MS, Tony (Michelle) Rowland of Memphis, TN, Todd (Anne) Rowland of Knoxville, TN, Garrett (Shannon) Rowland of Navarre, FL, Jana (Philip) Jackson of Millington, TN, and Kelly Woods
of Arlington, TN. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Miller and Roberta Grantham, her husband Charles G. Rowland, her sisters Mary Penn and Ona Bonds, brothers Miller and Billy Grantham, and her grandson Patrick Rowland.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:00pm with services starting at 2:00pm at
Forest Hill Funeral Home 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN.
