Edith J. "Jan" Mendoza, 64, of Memphis passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. Jan is preceded in death by her husband, Tony Mendoza and father, Fred shields. She leaves her mother, Ruby L. Smith of MemphisÍ her aunt, Evelyn White of Menila, AR and a very special aunt, Edith Bass of Olive Branch, MSÍ two nieces: Jackie Flores and Tiffany RamirezÍ three nephews: Victor Flores, Hector and Gary Shields. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 11 with graveside service 10 a.m. Saturday all at Forest Hill South.
