Olive Branch - EDNA HELEN ALEXANDER. Our beautiful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt and friend went to her heavenly home on March 4, 2013 at the age of 95. She was a member of Longview Heights Baptist Church for over 40 years. Born in Covington, TN in 1917, she was predeceased by husband, Lee A. Alexander and brothers, Bruce and Paul Whitson. She is survived by daughters, Linda Joyce Cooper (Bobby) of Byhalia, MS and Rosa Lee Tipton (Paul) of San Jose, CA. Also survived by granddaughters, Heather Petrowski of Byhalia, MS, Rachel Annette Wilbanks of Gillette, WY, and Amy Becker of Sunnyvale, CA. Also five great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, March 9 at Forest Hill South, with visitation, Friday, March 8 from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Longview Heights Baptist Church building fund, Olive Branch, MS or Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.
