Edna M. Eberhart of Munford, Tennessee
May 23, 1922 - March 20, 2018

Edna Eberhart, 95, passed away on March 20, 2018 in Munford, TN. She had been surrounded by her two sons and their wives: Gary and Linda Eberhart of Huntsville, AL and Dennis and Pamela Eberhart of Munford, TN.

Mrs. Eberhart is preceded in death by her loving husband, Edmond Eberhart, her sister Louise, and brothers Wilmer, Edwin, and Lester.She is survived by brothers Hilbert and Earl, and by sisters Ella, Gladys, and Darlene.

Edna was blessed with five grandchildren,  including Angela, John, Matthew, Jason (dcd), and Kristen (dcd) and also with six great grandchildren, including Jacob (Jake), Joshua (Josh), Hadleigh, Lincoln, Emma, and Zoya.

She loved baking and was an expert quilter, having hand quilted numerous quilts, including her first one in 1937 at the age of 15. Mrs. Eberhart also played the Hawaiian guitar and the drums. She and her brothers and sisters formed a band that played nearly 400 performances at recreations halls and other venues, including USO events, in the 1930s and 1940s.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Amedisys Hospice for their kindness and professionalism and also to Ms. Rebecca Kendall who provided loving home care to Mrs. Eberhart for many months.

As Mrs. Eberhart was a strong supporter of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), the family requests donations to the DAV
in lieu of flowers.
