Edna Norwood Heneisen, age 91, born to Jeff Taylor and Leola Thurmond on September 17, 1924 in Memphis, TN, and passed away on July 13, 2016. Mrs. Heneisen retired from the City Board of Education, at Memphis Technical High School. She retired in 1988 after 25 year as executive secretary to four principals. She leaves her son, Michael Edward Norwood. She also leaves a dear cousin, Sarah Harrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Clarence Heneisen; her sister, Maxine Riley; and two brothers James Taylor and Charley Taylor. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. The family requests that memorials be sent to the Diabetes Association.
