Edna Doris Sanders, 88, of Memphis, TN died peacefully on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

Edna was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 16, 1935 to the late Glen and Pearl Garrison. Doris worked at Getwell Animal Hospital as a vet tech and loved animals, especially dogs. She was a member of Macon Rd. Church of Christ her whole life. She was a cheerleader in high school. When she was young, she would fish and hunt with her daddy and as an adult she loved to fish and hang out on their pontoon boat in Kentucky Lake. She had a huge heart that was full of nothing but love.

She is survived by her son, Norman Sanders (Kathy) and her daughter, Sheria Fisher (Michael), sister, Janice Harmon, grandchildren, Carrie Miller (David), Ashley Gilchrist and great-grandchildren, Sydney Tran (Andy), Tyler Miller, Chloe Miller, Jackson Gilchrist, Savannah Pattat, River Kirk, Luke Tran, Ansleigh Tran, and Matthew Tran.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Forest Hill Funeral Home - East with service at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Hill Memorial Park - East.
