Edward Kent Dickinson, 76, of Cordova, TN passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026.                                                                                                  

Mr. Dickinson was a military son, born in Merced, CA to the late, Lt. Col. Edward L. and Jean W. Dickinson. He graduated in 1968 from Central High School in Murfreesboro, TN and received his degree in Criminal Justice from Middle State University. He retired from The State of Tennessee Department of Children’s Services in Memphis, TN.

He leaves two brothers, John W. Dickinson (Hanna) of Grand Forks, N.D. and Randall L. Dickinson of Charleston, S.C.; also, three grandchildren, Katherine R. Dickinson, David E. Dickinson, and Elizabeth J. Borschowa.
