Edward James Fogerty, 81, of Southaven, MS passed away October 30, 2016. He worked for the I.C. Railroad for 44 years, and surprisingly to him the railroad continued to function without him. Edward loved his family passionately and loved to celebrate all things in life. He loved the beach and happy hour. He leaves behind the love of his life, Dorothy. They were married 62 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved daughters: Denise Yatsula (Mike), Shelly Bruce (Robert), and Eydie Gates. He also leaves eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who all loved their Papa dearly. Edward was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers. He leaves his brother, Leon Fogerty of Ft. Myers, FL. Although he left us far too soon, he left us with hearts full of love and an abundance of memories. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, from 5-7 p.m. at Christ The King Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be said Thursday morning at 10 a.m., with burial to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
