Edward Roy James, Sr. 86, of Kennesaw, GA, formerly of Memphis passed away on September 5, 2024. He was born in Mississippi to the late Raymond and Lula Mae Thrasher James. He was an Army Veteran, and a retired Captain from the City of Memphis Fire Department.

Mr. James was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Shelton James.

He leaves his son, Eddie James and daughter in-law Andrea Breckwoldt James of Kennesaw, GA; two sisters, Billye Pittman (Harry), and Beth Pitt (Jack); one brother, Kevin James (Jonnie); also, two grandchildren, Ava and Lily James.
