Edward Lee Whalen, 86, of Ridgely, Tennessee, passed away suddenly at home on September 20, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his loving, devoted wife of 57 years, Linda Faye Whalen.

He was a proud Navy Veteran serving his country as a Navy Corpsman aboard the USS Paul Revere.

Ed is survived by three sons, Michael Edward Whalen (Kim) of Houston, Mississippi, Kevin Duane Whalen (Marybeth) of Ridgely, Tennessee, and Jeffrey Scott Whalen (Marla) of Bartlett, Tennessee. He also leaves three grandchildren, Kevin Kyle Whalen, Matthew Edward Whalen, and Kayla Whalen Housley: eight great grandchildren, and his beloved German Shepherd Layla.
