Edwin Charles "Charlie" Underwood, 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019. Mr. Underwood was retired from the City of Memphis Fire Department.  He leaves three daughters, Donna Maxwell of GA, Charlotte Ray of Atoka,TN and Lucy Hindman of Brighton,TN; six grandchildren: Sarah Maxwell, Grace Golden, Haley Ray, Johnathon Dunn, Mckenzie Dunn and Landon Crisp; two great grandchildren, Victoria Strout and Alexander Maxwell; and one sister, Nancy, Fryer of KY.  Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Forest Hill East.  Graveside service will follow at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 3700 North Germantown Parkway, Bartlett,TN.
