Effie Grantham, 80, of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2013. She was an art teacher for 30 years with the Memphis Park Commission, a member of the Bartlett OK Houck Chapter of the Eastern Star and a Baptist. Mrs. Grantham is survived by her husband of 64 years, Albert Grantham; children, Billy (Mitzi) Grantham, Brenda Grantham, Betty (Gary) Phillips; seven grandchildren, Michelle (Edwin) Feliu, Kimberly Phillips, Lyndsey (Tommy) Welsandt, Mason, Jacob, Taylor and Josh Coulter; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Taylor Feliu, A.J., Austin Welsandt; a brother; a sister and her dog, Lola. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 22 and the service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. The family request any memorials be sent to Crossroads Hospice.
