Effie Louise Williamson Mansel, 88, of Germantown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 20, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her family who loved her. Mrs. Mansel retired from John Deere after 28 years of service. She is preceded in death by her husband, William C. Mansel. She is survived by three sons: Larry Mansel (Sandy), K.C. Mansel and Ronnie Mansel all of Germantown; two daughters, Jan Lawson (Lee) of Arlington, TN and Brenda Wray of Germantown; one grandson, Gabriel Lawson of Lakeland and one granddaughter, Marissa Lawson of Arlington, VA. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 24 at Forest Hill South with visitation from 9:30 to 10 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
