Elaine H. Schewe, 78, of Olive Branch, MS passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital Bartlett. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with entombment to follow in Forest Hill Mausoleum South. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. She was a member of DIPEC Wives Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Audie H. And Sally Hogan; two brothers, Audie C. Hogan and James Wade Hogan; and a grandson, Barry Schewe. Elaine leaves her husband of 61 years, Wilder A. Schewe; three sons, Rick (Debi) Schewe of Harrisonville, MO, Bruce (Melanie) Schewe of Bartlett, and Anthony Schewe of Houston, TX; two sisters, Joan McDowell, of Warner Robins, GA, and Lena Stripling, of Albany, GA; and two grandsons, Dean Schewe and Hunter Schewe. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the American Kidney Foundation.
