Elizabeth Jean "Betty" Cottrell Eubanks peacefully departed her loving family on June 21, 2022. Betty was born in Columbia, SC on December 6, 1931 to James and Victor Mae Cobb. adopted and raised by J.W. & Annie Cottrell. Betty was the best mother and wife anyone could hope for raising her 5 children with love and devotion. She spent her time as a homemaker and later supporting the family furniture business as a bookkeeper. (Ms. Betty crocheted several afghans for her kids and went through a golf loving phase one summer with her good friend Ann Wall. She was a longtime member of Goodman Oaks Church of Christ, known as "one of the Bettys". Betty is preceded by her late husband Charlie, whom she missed dearly, one infant granddaughter, Christy Winn Eubanks, one grandson, Michael Eubanks, and two brothers Rudolph "Rudy" Senn and Jack Cottrell. She is survived by one daughter, Vicki Miller (Lynn), of Hernando, MS, and four sons, Claxton Eubanks, Jr.(Susan) of Hernando, MS; Mark Eubanks (Doug) of Lewes, DE; Dale Eubanks of Southaven, MS; Mickey Eubanks of Southaven, MS; brothers, David Senn & Jerry Senn. She had several grandchildren, Jesse Eubanks; Leslie McIntyre(Sean);Shawn Eubanks (Monia); Jonathon Eubanks (Tracy); Sheri Eubanks, Josh Eubanks (Amanda); and Tori Moore (Nick). Also several great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Carson, Hayden, McKinley, Ashlyn, Mason, Tatiyana, Bella, Dale aka Bear, Cooper, Eliana, Elijah, Seth, Levi, Abel, Zophia, Zephyr, Zander and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws. Betty was loved by all who knew her. Those who have accepted the honor of being her pallbearers are Jesse Eubanks, Josh Eubanks, Elijah Sweeney, Seth Sweeney, Todd Cottrell and Doug Sellers.
Services will be held at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ, 1700 Goodman Road, Southaven, MS 38671, on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at 2 p.m. Family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m.
