Elizabeth Farrow Hendrix Forsythe, age 89, of Horn Lake, MS passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021. Mrs. Forsythe was a member of First Baptist Church in Horn Lake, MS. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother.
Funeral will be officiated by Dr. Tim Trillett of First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Nesbit Cemetery in Nesbit, MS. Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Nancy Algee of Hernando, MS and Charlotte (Terry) Petty of Biloxi, MS, and sons, Greg (Terry) Forsythe of Collierville, TN and Glenn Forsythe of Memphis TN, three brothers, Larry(Nancy) Hendrix, Allen (René) Hendrix and Mike Hendrix, all of Brownsville, TN; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Joe Forsythe Jr., her parents, John W. Hendrix Sr. Elizabeth Morris Hendrix and stepmother Vera Annie Morris Hendrix; three brothers, J.W. Hendrix Jr., Franklin Hendrix and Donald Hendrix; and sisters, Marie Hendrix Todd and Peggy Porch of Brownsville, TN, a son, Ronnie Forsythe, and grandson, Terry Petty Jr.
