Elizabeth "Christine" Johnston, 82, of Olive Hill, TN, and formerly of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2016. She was a devoted wife to Edker Murphy Johnston for 60 beautiful years and a member of First Assembly of God in Savannah, TN. Mrs. Johnston is survived by her husband; son and his wife, Douglas and Barbara Johnston; daughter and her husband, Debbie and Barry Corzine; a grandson, Ronnie; and nephew, Greg Sanders. Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Inez Johnson; granddaughter, Heather Corzine; two sisters, Shirley Archer and Marionette Sanders; and a brother, Eugene Johnson. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Thursday, May 26 and service at 2 p.m. Friday, May 27 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East. Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens.
