Elizabeth "Betty" Schmidt, 83, of Bartlett, passed away August 27 at home with her family. She was a member of Faith Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Schmidt was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schmidt, and is survived by her three children, Robert Schmidt, Jr., Cheryl Stringfellow, Karen Patten; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 29 and service at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 30 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with burial following.
