Betty Shettles, 74, of Lakeland, TN, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2015 at her home. She was retired from Sears and was a member of Leawood East Baptist Church and former longtime member of the River M Camping Club. Mrs. Shettles is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Harry; children, Ray Cook (Bethany), Debbie Turner (John), Lisa Finger (Vic), Alan Cook (Amy); step children, David Shettles, Diane King; 14 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 2 until service begins at 11 a.m. at Leawood East Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Memphis Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Leawood East Baptist Church or the Gideon''s International.
