Ella Mae DeGraw, 90, was born in Cherokee, Alabama on April 14, 1927 and passed away in Horn Lake, Mississippi on October 4, 2017 after suffering a major heart attack. Tom Perry once said, "Family is the center of life, and it is the key to eternal happiness." Ella Mae was a true believer in that statement and she lived a long healthy life surrounded and loved by her vast family. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Annie Hall; her sisters Hazel Hall, Johnnie Hern, and Mary Elam; her brothers, Ralph Hall, Ervin Hall, James Earl Hall, and Virgil Hall; her sons, Billy Wayne DeGraw, Dennis Michael DeGraw, Ronnie Dale DeGraw, and Gregory Steven DeGraw; one granddaughter, Ladonna Renae Hamm, and 2 great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Mary Jo Smith, Bobby Lynn DeGraw, Janice Karen Morris, and Jackie Calvin DeGraw; her grandchildren, Sabrina Sue Smith, Donald C. Smith, Jr., Charles Clinton Morris, Andrea Haley DeGraw, Nicholas Thomas DeGraw, Dominic Wayne DeGraw, Michael Shane DeGraw, Heather Dawn DeGraw, and Brian DeGraw; as well as 22 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great grandchildren. Family and friends will gather to share memories 12 pm-2 pm, Monday followed by services at 2 pm. Both at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown.
