Ellen Marie Gootee Lunsford, 69, passed away in Southaven, MS on June 19, 2019. She was a Certified Professional Secretary and a member of that association. She was preceded in death by her parents, James, and Henrietta Kelsey and one granddaughter, Mary Ellen Evans. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 53 years, Robert Lunsford, Jr. and her daughters, Dawn Lumley of Hendersonville, TN and April Evans (Jimmy Sides, Jr.) of Walls, MS, one sister, Delores Christine of Bend, Oregon and a brother James Gootee, Jr. of Grenada, MS. Mrs. Lunsford was blessed with three grandchildren, Sara, Jessica, and Robert and one great-grandchild Warren. Mrs. Lunsford was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends. Visitation with her family will be on Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 12:30~2 with her funeral service following at 2:00 PM at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East.  901-382-1000
